Mother Mary close and wise servant of love,
guide the fervent intention of these souls we pray for;
Be with us always, O Lady, God’s favorite creature;
and pour out many blessings, so that our light may grow.

Warn us with a powerful voice, when we take erring steps;
Clothe us with serene humility, so we may see all evil;
plead in thy wise silence, so we may feel horror at sin;
for great harm it brings, causing suffering and pain.

Show us now your living example, to always forgive;
ignite these blind consciences, so they may feel contrition;
allow us clearly understand when we are offending Father God;
And allow us to also understand when we are hurting our brother.

Let your devotion illuminate our steps through life;
may your hand sustain us to overcome dangers;
may your Grace flood us to defeat the evil one;
and may your mantle protect us from his constant attacks.

Pray, Mary, for us, who are still struggling;
plead as well for the souls of those who have departed;
grant us support now, during, and after the fateful day;
and show us paths of hope, until the final resurrection.
